If you"re considering a vacation at one of Luxury Retreats Antigua rentals, prepare yourself for an invitingly slow pace of life. It"s said that Antigua has 365 beaches, one for every day of the year, and each with its own special beauty. Whether you"re staying in one of our beachfront Antigua rentals, or at one of our more secluded inland Antigua rentals, you"ll want to head to the ocean to gaze out on the clear, tranquil waters. Visit Deep Bay, where the wreck of the Andes lies, its mast poking above the middle of the water, or hang out at Dickenson Bay, where you can listen to some reggae and get your hair braided by a local. If you"re feeling the need for a little alone time, our Antigua rentals are the ideal place to soak up the sun on the deck of your private pool. The island lies within the British Commonwealth, but it has retained a very traditional West Indies influence; steel drum bands, calypso singers and limbo dancers are part of the exciting Caribbean flavor that will no doubt tempt you away from our Antigua rentals for a night on the town. The island"s capital, St. John"s, is the commercial center of Antigua, and you might consider visiting the Saturday morning market - if you really want to immerse yourself in local life, leave the cars at the Antigua rentals, and hop on the bus with all the vendors and their wares.
